Operating Hours – Penang Botanic Gardens
Open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., throughout the year. Admission is free.

Facilities
The following facilities are available: recreational and picnic areas, restrooms, wheelchair access, running track, stage, gazebos, jogging track, forest trails, open field, and plant nursery.

Group Tour
This service is available upon official written application at least 14 working days in advance to the Environmental Education Unit. For enquiries, please contact Pn. Ainie Ismanida binti Isman or Mr. Yuizwan bin Yaacob at +604-226 4401.

Services are offered for ornamental plant rental and venue rental. Interested parties may contact the following:

Ornamental Plant Rental
Applications for ornamental plant rental at Penang Botanic Gardens must be submitted via official letter to the department at least 14 working days prior to the rental or event date. For enquiries, please contact Mr. Mohammad Izzat Shamil Bin Mohd Rizuan at +604-226 4401.

Rental rates are subject to the type, size, and duration of use of the plants. Payment must be made according to the current applicable rates.

Other serices that offer to public are decorative plants rental and area rental (for public and private sector). Interestd, please feel free to contact: 

i. Decorative Plants Rental
  - Applications for the rental of decorative plants at the Penang Botanic Gardens must be submitted via an official letter to this department at least 14 working days before the rental date or event. For inquiries, please contact Mr. Mohammad Izzat Shamil Bin Mohd Rizuan at 04-2264401.
